I’m good at stalking Pinterest, just not so good at actually making things.

Fortunately I have super awesome creative friends that actually follow through on crafty projects. Let me introduce you to Amy. She’s like a younger, prettier, law-abiding version of Martha Stewart. The opposite of me.

Anyhooo, Amy found these adorbz edible baskets for easter. Guess what she did? She actually made them.

Her version turned out like this. What up mother-of-the-freaking-year.

You can check out all of Amy’s boards right here. And let's all give Amy a round of applause for actually finishing a project.

Who the F*#k has time to do all of these Pinterest projects?

So the shell project didn’t happen this week. Story of my life. And probably because I spent most of my pinning instead of actually making stuff.

I did do one thing that’s sort of share worthy. This mother-of-the-year was in charge of Teacher Appreciation Week gifts for my son’s class. So I put together a basket full of their favorite foods and then added in a gift card.

Fingers crossed this puts Darren up in the favorite student category. I set a good example, right? No.

Totally (not) going to complete the shells project this week. And in the meantime, check out some other projects I’ll never get to.

You gotta love another Pinterest FAIL.

So this is awesome. One of my good friends saw this brilliant idea on Pinterest—turning cereal tupperware into a car trashcan. Smart, right?

Um not so much.

Turns out that the tupperware slid under the carseat and her daughter got a hold of it, turned it upside down and dumped out all of the trash.

And that my friends should make you feel better when you see all of those glossy pictures that make you (and by you I mean me) feel like a failure. Thankyouverymuch.

Update on my next Pinterest Project: There is no update.

And of course you can check out all of my boards here.

Update to Pinterest success. It was actually a Pinterest fail.

The Before:
Son: "Why do the mustaches keep breaking?"

Me: “Because Pinterest only shows glossy pictures and not the aftermath.”

Son: “What’s an aftermath?”

Me: "Go to bed."

The Aftermath:

Major fail

Homemade Valentines completed. Brag.

First of all, Happy Valentine’s Day. Second of all, I rule. Why? Because I completed my first Pinterest project. And the finished product didn’t totally suck.

You can view the progress here.

And check out the finished products! Of course I realized at midnight last night that they would all fall apart if I just put them in my son’s backpack. So I (the hubby) stuck them in this flower holder thing that I happened to have. Pretty and functional, like you.
And now I’d like to show you what I’m going to attempt to do next week with the shells we collected in Costa Rica.

It’s going to look something like this. I hope. I know, this is such a freaking cliff hanger.

And of course you can check out all of my boards here.

Currently making Valentine’s Day cards for kids’ classmates while watching them do a taste test on playdough.

Eating playdough can’t be that bad, can it? I mean there’s really only so much I can multitask at once.

Anyhoo, the craft of the week is coming along. Here’s what I’ve done so far.
(1) Bought craft paper (duh)
(2) Drew lips on said craft paper
(3) Cut out lips

Not too shabby if I do say so myself. Of course I think you should know I have the artistic ability of a three-year-old.

And if you’re still searching for the ultimate V’day craft ideas, check these pins out.
S'mores. nom, nom. nom.

One of my friends just made these bookmarks and emailed me a pic. She's sort of a show off.

I’ve got good news for you. Actually it’s just news.

I’ve added more pins to my Valentine's Day board. You know, more projects for you not to do. But they’re cute so I wanted to share. If you have kids, the pressure is currently on to make cute valentine’s day cards. If you’re an adult, the pressure is currently on to make cute Valentine’s day cards (or to find a significant other before next week. )

Either way, this stuff is way awesome. So make it. Or buy it. Or pin it.

Update on this week's project I’m completing: I have yet to start. Get off my back.

I’d like to interrupt this morning’s usual stalking to reintroduce you to my other blog – Pinterest Stalkers.

My pinterest blog has been redesigned. So now it’s not only functional, it’s pretty to look at. You know, like a cupcake. Or a cosmo. And I'm actually going to update it. For real.

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, I’ve decided to feature projects of looooove this week. And since people are saying that Pinterest is useless unless you actually complete a project, I’m going to make these mustache/lip Valentines for all of the kids in my son’s class. And you’ll get to follow along.

Ohhh yeah (or maybe I should say Oy Vey), this is going to be good.

Feel free to check out all the projects I've pinned for Valentine's Day.

P.S. Pinterest is really catching on. You heard it here second here
P.P.S. This blog is still a work in progress. Feel free to comment on what you would like to see.
